Book published about the regional EPSA 2013 winner project on regional development through community-based civil safety

08/11/2018

Lapland’s Civil Safety Networking model, which won the EPSA 2013 in the regional category with the project “Development of Wellbeing and Civil Safety in Municipalities” submitted by the Regional State Administrative Agency of Lapland, is closely examined in this book published by the Lapland University of Applied Science. This publication also contains a commentary by EIPA on the network’s success.

Since 2013, the model has been deepened and extended to 40 municipalities in Northern Finland, has become a recognized best practice across Finland and has built international partnerships.

This former EPSA winner is an outstanding example of the value of growing through practice exchange and learning from valuable experience, which are at the heart of EPSA.
